A new open-house format by VC Academy brings experienced voices together to encourage dialogue, reflection, and learning in hairdressing. Here’s a quick insight into Vipul Chudasama Academy’s Open House format.
VC Academy has announced the launch of VC Open House, a new initiative aimed at creating an open forum for dialogue and shared learning within the professional hairdressing community. The first edition was held on January 5, 2026, in Mumbai.
The inaugural session featured Adhuna Bhabani, who shared insights drawn from over three decades of experience in the hairdressing industry. The session focused on personal journeys, professional learnings, and the importance of continued growth in an evolving salon environment.

Reflecting on the session, Adhuna Bhabani said, “After a long time, I experienced a session that felt truly meaningful and intimate. Everyone in the industry should experience the VC Open House.”
The event was attended by several established industry professionals, including Aalim Hakim and Avan Contractor, along with Shine Janardhan, Sumit Malkotia, Creative Head, Ikonic Professional, and Nitin Manchanda from Wella Professionals.

Sharing his perspective, the Celebeity Hairstylist, Aalim Hakim noted, “Listening to Adhuna’s journey from her beginnings to building a global brand was enlightening. It reinforced the importance of remaining a student throughout one’s career.”
Avan Contractor added, “The open-house format allows for honest conversations and shared experiences. It created space for meaningful engagement.”
The session was curated and hosted by Vipul Chudasama, Founder of VC Academy. The format was designed to encourage conversation rather than formal instruction, allowing participants to exchange ideas and perspectives openly.
“This was not just an event,” said Vipul Chudasama. “It marked the beginning of an ongoing effort to create spaces where professionals can learn from each other through conversation and experience.”
VC Academy has confirmed that the next edition of VC Open House will take place on April 6, 2026, and will feature another industry professional sharing insights from the contemporary hairdressing landscape.
